Finally, there are 124 patients arrive their final point, 26 patients develop into uremia, and, unfortunately, 3 patients died. And according to their research, which has established in CJASN in June 2016, the result is specific value of urine albumin/serum creatinine level.
As we said in title, specific value of urine albumin/serum creatinine level remains the best method and index in the prognosis of IgA Nephropathy.
Research has found that, besides urine albumin/serum creatinine level’s value, the following two indexes are also important:
One is protein in urine/serum creatinine level;
The other is 24-hour protein quality;
But the most correct and specific one is urine albumin/serum creatinine level.
So, if we suffer from IgA, we do not have to pay all our attention to albumin and blood occult, urine albumin/serum creatinine level remains the most correct index at all.
