Peking Tung Shin Tang Chinese Medical Hospital held a training course on traditional Chinese medicine to attract foreign students to specialize in acupuncture and moxibustion
On November 25, Peking Tung Shin Tang Chinese Medical Hospital held the opening ceremony of Training Course on Clinical Application of Acupuncture and Massage Technology. The two-week training course was attended by 45 paticipants from 9 countries including Algeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain and the Philippines.
It is reported that the hospital will teach foreign students vivid traditional Chinese medicine cultural theories and clinical treatment courses such as acupuncture, massage and so on. Foreign students can not only learn the theoretical knowledge of acupuncture and massage, but also have hands-on experience and clinical observation of the whole treatment process as well as experiencing the operation of acupuncture, massage, cupping and application of traditional Chinese medicine.
At the opening ceremony, Professor Kang Suobin, a specialist invited by Peking Tung Shin Tang Chinese Medical Hospital and President of Hebei Acupuncture and Moxibustion Society, gave a lecture on the theme of "Clinical Application of Acupuncture and Moxibustion for Several Diseases". Combined with real cases, the pathogenesis diagnosis methods of diabetes, asthma and other diseases were systematically explained, and the origin, needles and clinical application of of acupuncture and moxibustion were described. The students marveled at the magic of acupuncture and moxibustion and kept recording and shooting carefully.
As far as we know, the training course will also train foreign students in the treatment of hypertension, syncope, sequelae of stroke, eczema, cervical spondylosis and other traditional Chinese medicine. The rich and colorful courses and the patient explanation of the instructors will benefit them a lot, and make them feel the extensive and profound traditional Chinese medicine.
According to the person in charge of Peking Tung Shin Tang Chinese Medical Hospital, a series of training courses on traditional Chinese medicine are held to help foreign medical workers from all over the world to improve their technical ability so as to better serve patients and promote the introduction of Chinese medicine culture into the lives of foreign people.
